So it seems..

I have woken up this morning with a belly!

14 weeks+ Don’t mind the odd pose, it’s not easy to take photos of your own belly with a bulky Nikon!
I’ve been feeling little flutterings for awhile now, but now it seems the fetus is gaining strength, or morphing into an octopus- I have NO [...]

Tiny longie pants

Finished the tiny longies on Saturday like I hoped! I think they came out pretty with the color & stitch texture symmetry. I’m about 35% into the Seamless Infant Kimono. I did have to frog it once, because I didn’t have the pattern printed out yet & I just can’t go by memory with other [...]

Doughnuts are yummy

I’ve been plugging away slowly at the boys’ birthday gifts. They’re getting handmade doughnuts, sea turtles, & cheeseburger sets (as well as some other non-handcrafted items) for their birthdays. I have the sea turtles finished, but not yet assembled. The doughnuts are finished however & they are SUPER cute!

They were knit from this pattern with [...]

Pattern revamp: soaker shorts

LG soaker shorts. Yarn is TIG Kirsty on Carys BFL.
I felt the need to revamp my soaker pattern as with the waistband style I prefer just wasn’t keeping it’s shape as well as I would have liked. I’m thrilled with this new style- based off my longies/shorts pattern!

Photo time!

It’s been awhile since I shared a good amount of photos. Figured I’d try to make up a bit!

I made this for Baby 4 recently. The sweater is from this pattern, although heavily modified. (Specific mods listed on the Ravelry project page). The booties are a modified version of the Perfect Little Booties pattern. The [...]

True Newborn Baby Hat

When I found out I was pregnant, I took out all my pattern books & searched for a nice, simple, yet adaptable newborn hat. Unfortunately, my books only held patterns for infants about the age of three months & older.. so I did what I do best- improvised myself a new baby hat pattern [...]

Black & white baby fever part II

I made the longies for the black & white newbie set. I think after the booties I will get some undyed cotton yarn for a beautiful baby blanket pattern I found. I’m going to make a hat for the next set I have planned instead.
I hope everyone likes the new look!

Black & white baby fever

Sounds like an exotic disease doesn’t it? I wanted to post some photos of my newest finished object, a Seamless Baby Kimono. I made the bulky version, in worsted weight yarn on size 7 (4.5mm) needles to achieve the newborn/small size I wanted.

The photos aren’t the best, it’s finally been raining here, [...]
