Cup of milk

For Ella Bean’s fourth birthday we gifted her with a fabulous retro play kitchen. For some of her small gifts, I improvised up a few things for her new kitchen- including this super quick, super simple to make cup of milk.
This is a beginner (easy) pattern.
You’ll need:
worsted weight yarn (cotton, acrylic, wool is my personal [...]

News news news!

The Ice Cream Cone pattern has been altered to reflect the NEW pattern. I really love how the new pattern turned out, hope you do too!
I’m going to be working on a new theme before I upgrade, so if things get weird over the next few days to a week- you’ll know why.

Site, patterns, pregnancy updates

I really need to update regularly, don’t I? The summer is always the busiest time of the year- have to keep these wild beasts entertained! There is a lot of change going on for us right now. I haven’t read blogs in forever, and for that I’m sorry. Once N & E are in school [...]

Family update

It’s been much too long since I’ve blogged here! I’ve been very private since early this year, so I guess that semi-explains my blog absence.
Life is super busy as we only have a few months before school starts again, both N & E will be going & they are SO excited as [...]

Chocolate cream-filled egg

I’m such a bad blogger. I have a new free pattern to make up for my bad blogging behavior though.

This is an advanced beginner pattern.
You’ll need:
Worsted [...]

Cookies

Two raisin cookies & two chocolate chip cookies.
This is another “off the top of my head” pattern. Very simple to make, in fact I am working with Bean on how to crochet her own cookies!
This is a beginner (easy) pattern.
You’ll need:
Worsted weight yarn (cotton, acrylic, wool is my personal preference) in colors for the cookies [...]

Ice Cream Cones

Single scoop waffle cones with cherries on top. Yarns used: Hand dyed in strawberry ripple, chocolate fudge, undyed Blackberry Ridge 3-ply merino with embroidered sprinkles & Moscow Magic Peace Fleece (Worsted)- bubblegum.
When I created the first version of this pattern (which was much like this, if you’d prefer that style of cone & ice cream) [...]
