I am SO ready for the holidays. The house looks magical, wonderful, & “Christmassy,” I just love this time of the year. We only have a few gifts left to purchase, which I will do this coming week, meaning this will be the earliest we’ve ever been finished with giftmas shopping! I’ve been really enjoying my “vacation” & thought I had better post again since another month has flown by.

I’m also nearing the finish line on my gift making, too. Most of what’s left to make are play foods! Here’s what I have left (I’ll write up a better gift-along update next week):
*5 dishcloths
*milk carton
*2 ice cream cones
*sundae
*orange for E’s fruit/market bag set
*carrot cake
*lemon pie
*p b & j sandwich
*Outdoorsman longies
*Ks socks
I have mittens on the list, too, but they can wait until after the holidays because it isn’t even that cold here yet. I so totally rock this year when it comes to gifts!! :hero:
Although we did 98% home made/ hand crafted gifts, some of the kids’ stuff is mass-manufactured like E’s Strawberry Shortcake dolls & My Little Ponies or N’s Little People Pirate Ship play set & Pirates of the Caribbean figures. They have made lists which were “sent to Santa” so I couldn’t very well NOT indulge their requests, you know?
