Okay, so we’re not mad per se, but we are all ill! K gave us a lovely cold with a hacking, mucous-y cough. All of us will live but a few of us feel miserable. I’m also afraid I will be having the same type of morning (all day) sickness I had with Dane as I’ve had the same exact burning stomach & vomiting of foamy mucous. Good stuff let me tell you.

Turkey Day is three days away, I can’t wait to eat my weight in food. Food has been on my mind every minute since Halloween (when I took the positive test) & therefore I think I am gestating a baby elephant. For T Day we’re going to Mom & Dad’s. I spoke to Mom yesterday when we had some “girls only time” & we are going to drop off the kids on Friday so we can go to get some gifts from the kids’ lists. Not looking forward to battling crowds, but I am happy to have so much so early this year as we’re usually December 23rd shoppers since K is the only driver in our household (well, until next spring!).

I am pleased to say that I have D’s Weasley nearly completed. I don’t know why I just let it sit for so long.. I tried a small change in the pattern with the sleeves because I wanted to knit them in the round on DPNs instead of flat as I ABHOR seaming with a passion. It worked out well & I just started the second sleeve on Saturday. I should be done with it early this week since I only have the sides to seam instead of needing to seam all the way up the sleeves. N’s scarf is about eighty percent done, & it will be finished today. I will be crafting like crazy the next few weeks. Yesterday Mom & I went to JoAnne’s & I got some felt & a pattern to make some super cute stockings. Looks like I will be dragging out the sewing machine earlier than planned.

My house is also getting in order. I have to make the bathrooms spotless & clean the kids’ rooms (yes, again). Next weekend we plan to have a yard day on Sunday. We will get all our holiday decorations out & go through N’s outgrown clothes because Dane, my huge 15 month old, is wearing 24 months & 2T clothes. We’ll clean up the yard some, too.
