Easy Homemade Macaroni and Cheese

I have some of this cooking in the oven right now. This is a very fast, easy homemade macaroni & cheese recipe & it’s my family’s favorite! It’s funny how sometimes the simplest things can be the very best!
1 pound of sharp cheddar cheese
8 oz elbow noodles
2 Tbs butter
1/2- 1 cup of whole milk or milk of your choice
Boil the elbow noodles & once they are drained place them into an 8 x 8 (or 9 x 9) square glass Pyrex pan. Slice cheese into medium sized squares. Slice up the butter & mix into the noodles until melted & well incorporated. Add the cheese to the pan of buttered noodles. I like to take about half of the cheese, stir it into the noodles somewhat, then add the rest on the top. Pour the milk over th top of the pan until you can just barely see it through the noodles. Bake in the over for 20-30 minutes or until cheese on top is golden brown & bubbly. Once removed from the oven, allow to sit for at least five minutes before serving.
My mouth is drooling because now I can smell it, *hehe* !
