I love this part of the year. Starting right before Halloween until after Christmas/New Year’s I get good, happy feelings of warmth & family togetherness. I enjoy cooking & baking extra special goodies for K & the team, then seeing how much joy they get from what I make. This applies to gift making as well- there’s nothing like a nice, hand crafted gift.

It froze last night (pretty early this year, it usually happens after our wedding anniversary- the fifteenth of November), so I am glad I brought in my potted plants & herbs over the weekend. I’ve been utilizing the fireplace, too.. I enjoy making fire. :devil:

Yesterday I made the YUMMIEST sweet potato casserole, I will post up the recipe as soon as I write it up.
