Have you ever wished there was a search engine for people? Well now there is! Spock is a “people search engine” letting you search for anyone- celebrities, your neighbor from down the road, your kid’s soccer coach that you can’t stand, or even your dentist’s grandma. In other words, find anyone you want through a Spock person search. Spock provides you with all the person’s links on the web, making getting in touch with a long lost friend easy.

Spock works by crawling social websites & blogs among other things to come up with the right information for your search result. The Spock community also provides some information through contributions or editing. Spock members can add photos, tags, or other relevant information. Members can also vote, providing a unique democracy not often found on search engine websites. Anyone can join & joining is easy. Joining Spock let’s you have the ability to control where people find you on the internet, something that’s very much needed in today’s day & age. When new information is available about you on the internet, Spock emails you to alert you, that way YOU know first before anyone else. Joining also let’s you share your knowledge with others about people as well, it’s not all about you (did you think it was? ).

I had NO clue who to search for (although I did bookmark Spock because I am sure the time will come!) so I searched for one of K’s long time friends Schuylar Croom. It came up with the right result, I am happy to say & even had a few widgets to choose from in case I wanted to display my search results. Pretty cool, huh? I think this website will most definitely come in handy, you never know who you will need to look up next!
