Garlic Mashed Potatoes (in your mixer)

4:44pm on the 17th of October, 2007

I’m going to share with you a recipe we use often with our stand-up mixer. Our Garlic Mashed Potatoes are hearty & delicious- the kids love it- we usually make this a few times a month as a side dish for dinners or brunches.
You’ll need:
Half a dozen large russet potatoes
3 Tbs. minced garlic
2 Tbs. butter
1/4 cup milk

Bring the half dozen potatoes to a boil & cook them thoroughly until they are soft all the way through. Once they are fully cooked, cut them up & out them in the mixer. Turn the mixer on medium speed, breaking up the potatoes. Add milk, butter & garlic & mix together completely. Turn potatoes into an oven proof dish & cook at 350°F for about half an hour or until the potatoes are golden brown on the top. Try them & then tell me how you like this recipe!
