I had originally planned to make a dozen cupcakes. I have so much to make that I don’t think that’s really feasible, so I’m going to stick to four for my kids & two for Jess’ kids. I’m nearly done with the fourth but I loved these new two SO much I had to post about them!
Lemon Citrus Swirl
I modified the pattern a bit & got a Blueberry Muffin! If you want to know how to get your cupcake looking more like a muffin, simply change the way you crochet round TEN on the FROSTING section of the Amigurumi Cupcake pattern like so:
Rnd 10 — [(1 sc, 1 ch) in next sc, 1 sl st in next sc] repeat around to last sc.
Then you embroider all over little “berries”.. you could use a violet red for raspberries, red for strawberries, light brown for nuts, dark brown for chocolate chips or blue for blueberries.
I even found time to make a
Party Cupcake with a cherry on top!

Haha a fast look at the first pic made me think it was real. Once I figured it wasn’t, I got tricked again at the “Party Cupcake” (third pic) and thought it was for real again.
