I’ve always thought Peace Fleece was scratchy because the one time I felt it, it was before the yarn had been washed or even knit. I have always known that it is an extremely durable yarn & while I thought it would be perfect for Dane, I was very leery of the scratchiness. A few months ago, I began hearing that Peace Fleece softens up considerably if you give it a bath & soak it in hair conditioner. I started having hope for it & decided to give it a try! I bought a lovely Peace Fleece hand dyed skein set from someone on the Hyenacart forums last week.

When I pulled it out of the package I was really surprised at how soft this yarn is! All my qualms over Peace Fleece are gone & I am even looking into wholesale ordering this yarn to dye when I open up shop! This particular skien is called Sushi Sonnets & it was originally purchased at Dyeing to Fly.
