Storms make me happy
9:19am on the 8th of September, 2007
Especially when our rainfall is very nearly nineteen inches below the norm! Gabby is only a sub tropical storm, but she could strengthen into a hurricane & I’d still welcome her with open arms. Hell, all a hurricane means for me is LOTS of knitting time & I have a sweater among other things to work on.
Our garden is in some desperate need of loving, since I’ve been so sick & the lack of rain, it’s been a bit neglected. We are going to hang out here this weekend to tend to it & get some things done around here. I am just now finally caught up on the dishes, they stacked right up when I was feeling my worst & although it was only a few days, it took me awhile to get caught up. We need a dishwasher, BADLY! We do have one but it’s sitting at Mom & Dad’s & I think I will have to light fires under people’s behinds to get it over here & installed. It’s extremely frustrating & makes me just want to get it & do it MYSELF. *meh*
I had the strangest dream last night. I somehow had a metric ton of yarn delivered to me & K was so mad because I have such a yarn stash already! Got to love crazy dreams, eh?

We’re right where the red touches North Carolina. That rain is much needed at the moment.
Niki, I hope the hurricane winds are not detrimental to your garden soil. I’ve never been through one myself, but hopefully everything works out for the best.
