My Marr Haven Merino-Rambouillet wool yarn arrived the other day. I have to make a post RAVING about this yarn because although I have yet to dye or work it up- this yarn is SO soft & super squishy. It’s rare that right off the bat I fall deeply in love with a yarn (although I am quite fond of the organic bulky Merino I buy as well!), but this yarn has definitely stolen my heart! Marr Haven has fantastic pricing at just $8.50 a four ounce (210 yards) skein, making it a very affordable luxurious yarn. Marr Haven yarn is mule spun so it keeps its elasticity better than most yarns do & although it isn’t certified organic, it’s 100% chemical free & they treat their sheep very humanely. I’m going to be getting LOTS more Marr Haven yarn! I absolutely can’t wait to dye & knit these up for our next little one!
