I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes, messages & e-cards! I had a good day, the kids were crazy, but I spent a bit of the day chatting with my sister. Jess is sending me THE BEEF JERKY of all beef jerkies.. I’ve only seen the stuff in MN & a few surrounding states- nowhere in the south. I have been craving it badly for, oh.. five years! I don’t eat much red meat, but for this stuff I will GLADLY suffer!! *lmao* It’s going to be put away in my treat stash because if Noah finds out about it, I won’t have any left for myself.

I’m thinking about getting a Nifty Knitter for scarves & small projects.. I have SO much to knit & it’s already September! Oi!! I figure since I can’t magically enchant my needles to knit things for me like Mrs. Weasley can, I’d give it a go. I’m looking for speed here.

Looking forward to tonight, we are really in need of a kid-free night! Did you know it’s been years since I’ve been to Olive Garden? They JUST finished building one locally a few months ago. I hear it’s always packed out, but hey- I have no kids tonight, I’ll wait & wait & wait..
