In memory

I have an uncle who died from heroin overdose. This was a drug problem he had been suffering from for many, many years. It drove his three children away from him, caused him & my aunt to divorce & put unmentionable stress on the entire family. Through the years he found a few support groups, but I don’t think he ever fully went into a rehab clinic. A drug rehab program could have saved his life, kept his family together, & let him develop a relationship with his children. It’s extremely sad that he never got the help he needed- he died alone in his bathroom.
At Watershed, Addiction Resource Specialists help addicts find the help they need & even help paying for treatment.

Sorry for the loss of your grandpa, can’t imagine how, or what you’re feeling.
Terrible how these things happen, and make you think about life.
