& weekends are for crafting! I have only one project on the needles right now- a pair of newborn longies. I’m nearly finished with them as newborn knits don’t take me long to complete. I have a photo to share..

This is Dane’s birthday set. The yarns are Zen String’s Jay on Nirvana worsted & Flynn on Peregrine merino from Three Irish Girls. I still have to sew the mittens, make the cords for them & weave in all the ends. I can’t believe the baby is going to be in larges so soon! They fit him great, allowing for lots of growth. I think the rise (the top half) of the pants look super long, but I knit it the correct size, I promise!

The yarn really went a loooong way I still have enough left to make him matching slippers!

I also completed knitting the sushi set for part of Ella’s holiday gift stash, all I need to do is sew the tuna & cali rolls & assemble the egg sushi. It’s really cute. I still want to find a cute bento box for storing it. I think next for my food knits I will do this set. Knitting food is too fun!

I am doing really well & haven’t peed on another pregnancy test yet, I’m trying my hardest to wait for tomorrow morning for more accurate results. I’m kind of surprised nobody commented with opinions on my post with the pregnancy test photos. :depressed:
K’s working strange hour today- he closes so he’s already at work & will be working until close tonight, so I’m pretty bummed. Reckon I’ll keep myself & the kids busy somehow.
