Royal Fudge
10:45am on the 13th of August, 2007

I kettle dyed these two skeins of Corriedale wool in shades of vivid royal blue to light blue, deep dark brown to light brown. The photos don’t do these awesome colors justice!
I named this colorway Royal Fudge because well I’ve seen SO many colorways with the name “chocolate” & I thought fudge fit perfectly because honestly that’s what the brown shades remind me of! Royal is for the royal blue, of course. This wool is destined to be a pair of winter longies for the D-man & perhaps a hat for Noah because he “loves this yarn!” *lol*

I want a hat too. Like the one Ron wore in Prisoner of Azkaban. There’s a book here at the library with the knit design.
I’d pay you.
I would be honored to make you a hat, Amber! Is it Charmed Knits by chance? I am DYING to get that book, if it is!
Nice colors, and fudge? *grabs stomach*, haven’t had it in a while!
Great job on this, looks massive
I think it might be charmed knits. I’ll make you a copy of the pattern.
Is it soft yarn? I’m a sucker for really soft yarn things.
I hope Dane had a wonderful birthday!!!
Robbie- Thank you!
Amber- That sounds great! It isn’t the softest- I am planning to soak the knit items in hair conditioner to see if it softens up any more as I’ve heard that works with wool. If I can’t get it softer I will let you know & I could easily pick up some merino (SUPER soft!) or something to dye up for your hat. :cheery:
He did! He sure loved the cake, *lol* !
