My digital camera, a Nikon D50, is possibly my most treasured possession. I’ve even named it Niko! I use him to capture memorable images for me, especially those of my quickly growing children. I also enjoy taking landscape & artsy (aka. odd angle) photos with Niko. He really rocks my world.

I’ve been doing a bit of looking for some new toys to add to him. I’d like to get a few lenses- a telephoto & a macro. I’m also in desperate need of a tripod, I totally fail at taking photos of myself because Niko’s so big & hard for me to hold with one hand (I have ridiculous, childishly small hands). I’ve been scoping some shops on the internet that sell cameras & accessories so I can put a price tag to my little digital camera wishlist. Ritz Camera has some sweet deals, perhaps I will have to take them up one one or two in the months to come.
