Body Soufflé

9:48am on the 24th of July, 2007

1 oz Cocoa butter
3 oz Shea butter
2 oz Rice bran oil
2 oz Jojoba oil
1 tbs Vegetable glycerin
1/8 tsp GSE
1/2 to 1 1/2 oz Natrasorb (works as a degreaser if soufflé is too oily) ,optional
Essential oil of choice

Melt cocoa & shea butters over low heat. When butters are melted remove from heat & stir in your other oils & the GSE. Put your bowl with this mixture in your freezer until a white crust begins to form along sides of bowl & the butters/oils become more opaque.

Remove from freezer & mix with an electric mixer. Once mixture becomes creamy & fluffy add in your vegetable glycerin while mixing on low speed. Add in Natrasorb & mix again. After all ingredients are mixed in throughly add your essential oil.
The main key to this recipe is mixing. Mix well to incorporate air into the souffle so that it will be light & fluffy.

    Thanks,

  2. Hi Diane. GSE is grapefruit seed extract. It can be found at your local co-op or health food center. :)
