When we start building our home, we’re going to look into a mortgage so that we can fund the building! We don’t plan on spending an arm & a leg, but plan to build from recycled structures as well as purchase new, energy efficient appliances. Newfangled “green” appliances are not cheap & I forsee that being our highest costing area during the build.

I know many people who would love to be living in their own home. For those who are looking to build or buy a home with not quite perfect credit history will find that sometimes bad credit remortgages are the best option for them. Money certainly doesn’t grow on trees & renting gets very expensive, so if mortgage is not an option (you have to own a home to mortgage!) you could check into debt consolidation.
