When I was a kid, I had the WORST time in math class. See, I have a form of dyslexia (dyscalculia) that makes math learning difficult for me. While I’m not one to label myself, I will admit to the learning disability because it made my school years very difficult. Math Tutors would have helped me a LOT. Having one-on-one help with figuring out a better way for me to learn algebra in 9th grade (when I- & my teachers! *exclaim* - completely wrote math off) than the traditional ways. Maybe then my dream of becoming a doctor could have been a reality!
