Are your kids complaining about how bored they are this summer? Have they grown bored with the same old computer & internet games? We found a site today that has the neatest “make your own” e-cards where you & your kids can Build A Sandcastle!
Maybe because we have vacation on the brain- but the kids & I had lots of fun building sandcastles in the last half hour.

First, you choose which lovely beach you’d like to build your castle on. It then loads all the drag-able & editable castle pieces on the screen. As you place each castle piece, you have many options to choose from: color, “watering it down”, choosing which parts go in front or back, & much more.

After you get your castle looking the way you want it, you can add some fun accessories: seagulls, starfish, crab, shovel & pail, more! When complete, save your castle, give it a cool name, & send to your friends & loved ones.

My kids had a fun time building sandcastles, it was really easy for them at ages four & three to maneuver the drag-able pieces around on these virtual beaches. They had so much fun with it in fact, they want to play again as soon as Momma is finished blogging! So we’re off to play in the sand some more at Virtualsandcastle.com!
