Arm/Leg - Warmers
3:50pm on the 22nd of March, 2007
You’ll need:
4- 4mm double pointed needles
scissors
darning needle
This pattern uses approximately 220 yards of worsted weight yarn.
Gauge is 8 rows, 5 stitches per inch.

(I used IBK Galenas merino in Caitriona for this first pair.)
K- knit
P- purl
Inc- increase, or make one
Cast on 48 stitches.
Knit in K2 P2 pattern for 68 rows.*
<-START KNIT ROWS->
Inc every stitch for 1 row.
K 1 row.
Inc every stitch for 1 row.
K 1 row.
Bind off in K.
Weave in ends with darning needle.
That’s it! You’re halfway done, now make the other one & you’ll have your pair of arm/leg warmers. They look especially cute under skirts & dresses, or worn on the arms under short-sleeved shirts.
*If you’d prefer NOT to have the ruffled edge, simply K2 P2 (or even K1 P1) for an additional 4 rows & bind off in K!
This pattern is a One Size Fits All in baby (infant - about 2-3 years). I will be working small child, large child, & adult sizes into the pattern soon.
